Welcome to Hadsten Folk High School

Hadsten Folk High School (Hadsten Højskole) in Denmark may be your opportunity to experience a particularly Danish tradition of peoples enlightenment and your chance to learn about Danish culture, language and democracy.
Hadsten Folk High School is rooted in the past, lives in the present and is open to the future – a future in which people will be more closely linked across borders.

Grants available to students from the new EU-membership countries

The Danish government organization CIRIUS offers financial support to qualified students from countries recently admitted to the European Union (EU) who wish to study at Hadsten Folk High School in Denmark. The grants cover tuition fees and board and lodging during the students’ stay at the folk high school. There is, though, a small fee for materials and student travel, which is compulsary.
Quite a lot of students in one of the new EU member countries have already attended Hadsten Folk High School with great success, and we would also be happy to welcome you!
To obtain the grant, you must be a citizen of one of the following countries: Romania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia.

For mig var det rart at have en mentor, som jeg skulle tale med mindst en halv time hver anden uge. Det får virkelig en til at reflektere over, hvilken udvikling man går igennem personligt.
